LECHUZA Pon is the ideal alternative where conventional soil should be dispensed with as a plant substrate. The advantages of LECHUZA Pon are suitable for all plants (also for orchids and citrus plants). LECHUZA Pon is made of high-quality mineral rocks that are free from impurities and harmful substances. LECHUZA Pon has an optimal air-water ratio for plants (45% water, 55% air). This reduces the susceptibility to diseases. Even after years, the structurally stable plant substrate does not compress and retains its breathable structure. LECHUZA Pon does not need to be replaced even after years! Multiple screening during production reduce fine fractions in the rock to a minimum. Clogging in the root area is thus excluded, and the permanent capillarity is preserved. The zeolite contained permanently stabilises the optimal pH value in your LECHUZA planter for healthy plant growth. Macronutrients and micronutrients remain permanently freely available. LECHUZA Pon has a continuous capillarity up to the vascular surface. Underplanting and plants with small roots are therefore well-supplied with water. The LECHUZA plant substrate ensures even nutrient distribution in the root area of your planter. The optimal supply forms an even compact root distribution and a robust plant that you will enjoy for a long time. LECHUZA Pon behaves like a buffer that absorbs excess fertiliser and releases it back to the plant if necessary. The natural nutrient store prevents burning of the roots due to over-fertilisation. LECHUZA Pon has an adapted bulk weight. Your plant finds a firm hold in the planter, which is especially important for larger plants. LECHUZA Pon ensures a high stability of your LECHUZA planter and is also ideal for outdoor use. The granules are a natural odour binder for e.g. dead root parts. Heavy metals and harmful substances (e.g. from the irrigation water) are permanently bound. The pure mineral plant substrate inhibits root-harmful fungi. Pon is, therefore, suitable for allergy sufferers. It does not form a breeding ground for pests (fungus gnats), as they only nest in soil. Pon is free-flowing and can be used with a scoop without dirt to fill the planters. When planting in LECHUZA Pon, you do not need to completely free the root ball of the plant from soil. Ingredients of LECHUZA Pon: zeolite, German wash pumice, light lava (provides your plant permanently with iron), fully coated fertiliser in premium quality. The case is purely organic and is degraded without leaving any residue. Your plant is supplied evenly for approx. 6 months with nutrients.
